With the rise of social media platforms, blog sites, and news outlets, information is being spread at a rapid rate. The influx of information has lead to terms like “fake news”, which relates to news and information that has no credibility or that lacks “facts”. I wanted to create an explainer video that shows how different media outlets and people skew, change, or outright falsify information on different platforms. I took inspiration from collaging and the Dada art movement to create this piece.
