The spirit of our loved ones bring us together.
A defenseless cub turned to a lone wolf, Ma'ii braves the desert alone after the passing of its mother. The cold nights have made him rigid and the dry heat of the day have made him stern. Where only the fit survive, there is no room for emotion.
Ma'ii is a folktale, inspired by the Navajo Native American culture, about how coyote packs are formed. The Film is set to release Spring 2020..
The Making of Ma’ii
Since 2020, Ma’ii has taken part in numerous film festivals across the United States. To this day, it makes appearances at SCAD’s Atlantamation showing, and the Kids First Film Festival. Here is a step by step process of how the shots are animated and composited into the final film.
